Reggie and Thomas in same backfield?

I would like to know why we don't ever put Reggie and Thomas in the same backfield? Utilize Reggie more and get him in space. It might not be in the WCO manual but we look pathetic in the running game. I understand our offensive line has looked horrible but something has to spark this offense. I would love to see some different looks the next 6 games.
