I've seen this guy play a good amount over the years, sometimes he struggles when teams blitz a lot, but he has a cannon of an arm, plays smart football, and is a playmaker (4.5 40-yard dash). He's a 4-year starter and revived GT from a middle of the road ACC team to a national top 15 team. If the phins aren't in position to draft an elite quarterback like Quinn, I think it would be very wise to sit on a guy like Ball and pull the trigger in the 5th round or so. Then they can groom him to replace Daunte in three years or whenever it's time to cut him.

Umm no

Being a Canes fan (and a huge Calvin Johnson fan) Reggie Ball is a terrible QB.

If he ever plays in the NFL it will be as a running back or a WR and Im sure CK will agree with me

Agreed. I can't see Ball as an NFL QB. He doesn't seem to make a lot of good decisions. And even after seeing the statement about being rattled by teams that blitz a lot, the just says he'll have trouble against pretty much every NFL team. He's also only 5'11" and 195 lbs., that's enough to get him completely banged up back there.
 
you never want a qb that's that short plus he dosen't impress me at all
 
Yeah, I watched this guy play the Noles for 4 years... and he didnt impress me at all. He had a ton of hype as freshman and all he ever became was a decent player.

Reggie Ball is not an NFL QB much less a college QB. If Tech had a decent backup Ball would be benched. I would take any of UGA's QB's over Ball. he has zero decision making skills, he is very inconsistant, and as far as a cannon of an arm, you have got to be kidding!!! At 5"11, more like 5"10 he is too short to be a pocket passer yet Tech runs minimum roll out plays because Ball lacks arm strength to be affective across the field. he will never play QB in the NFL. :sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol: I wish he never played QB at Tech!!!
 
Reggie ball is the worst QB i have ever seen play the game of football. Hands down. that includes like youth football teams.

that's interesting since they haven't played since '03 when Ball was a freshman and they almost upset FSU at Doak.
 
Ball will be a WR in the pros.

he has the best WR in college and his completion % is under 50% for his career. hes garbage.

Just because guys suck as QB doesn't necessarily mean they become wide receivers automatically. There is also option 3 - "no pro future whatsoever".
