Reggie Bush agrees Ryan Tannehill will be third quarterback

Marino couldn't beat out DAVID WOODLEY his rookie season coming into Wk. 1. Matt Moore is a better QB than Woodley.

I have said it in so many ways I am tired of saying it... the worst, most BONEHEADED move ireland made this offseason was signing david garrbage.

They have completely destroyed Moore in the eyes of a sizeable segment of this fan base and there is no way to measure what damage it has done to moore's confidence. The smart move was to anoint Moore as starter and clarify Tannehill as backup and go with that no matter what may come. PERIOD. Instead they threw complete chaos and confusion into this QB depth chart by signing a dead-end washed-up guy who never seized the job in Jax and made the Pro Bowl in a year when 10 or so other AFC QB's begged off because of injury.

The sheer lunacy on this site is astounding when I read on another thread that some actually are stupid enough to entertain the notion that garrbage actually be given a MULTI-YEAR contract and Moore be CUT. This BEFORE training camp even starts.

Was Tannehill being drafted just as a SMOKESCREEN? Seems like some people hope so.

and again i'm sure steelers fans and coaching staff thought the same thing when roethlisberger went to camp...now is berger the exception sure he is but it does happen...and i don't know how much you expect the game to slow down for the kid getting no reps behind stop gaps like garrard and matt moore

as for your last question what would i have done at #8...taken tannehill on the upside and tools given our situation...said as much after he was drafted...but i wouldn't have just pegged him for 3rd string without giving him a fair shake in camp...time to see what he's got

Bad example IMO. Big Ben didn't begin his rookie season as the starter. He didn't become the starter until after Maddox was injured.

I hope Tannehill is ready by week 6 or so. I don't see Garrard leading this squad to the playoffs...

You do realize that Garrard was signed BEFORE Tannehill was drafted so I'm not sure why Philbin would anoit Moore the starter and Tannehill the backup. If Moore is as good as many here believe him to be, this may actually be the depth chart when the season begins.

If bringing in Garrard damages Moore's confidence then Moore should not be a QB in the NFL.

Garrard never seized the job in Jacksonville? Umm...okay.

I guess having Moore earn the QB is too much for some Matt Moore's fans. You can call Garrard washed-up or garbage or whatever you want but if Matt cannot win the starting job from David, then I guess Moore is not the QB we want anyways...is he?
