I believe so. Midway through the season Bush finally became a true RB. Not only did he not get injured, he got better as the year went on. I believe he will be used more in the passing game this year too. It will be exciting if Bush does indeed continue where he left off.

They better use Bush more in the passing game as last season he was
next to last in receptions in his Career with 43 receptions
the only season he had less receptions (34)is when he played
8 games in 2010

in 2006 Bush averaged 5.5 receptions per game
in 2007 Bush averaged 6.08 receptions per game
in 2008 Bush averaged 5.2 receptions per game
in 2009 Bush averaged 3.35 receptions per game
in 2010 Bush averaged 4.25 receptions per game

in 2011 Bush averaged 2.86receptions per game his worst average in his NFL career

Hopefully we can utilize Bush the correct way this season

What u fail to realize is that 2011 is the first year dude is an actual rb. In no he wasn't at all.

He may have less catches but he's doubled his yards rushing.

So if we weren't utilizing him properly u might check the fact that he runs better in miami last year then any of the years u mentioned.

I'd rather have a 1000 yd running bush then missing out on 2-3 catches a game.

I agree, a true runningback with a potent passing attack is better. I do agree though, Reggie's versatility is huge...

Dude is a RUNNINGback. I'll take him for 1,000yd seasons and little catches anyday. We have WR's to do the other part.

There was no way to predict Bush exceeding expectations. But it now seems like a waste to have moved up to pick DT, who was oft injured and not very impressive.

Its been one year. Give Daniel some time. Not his fault he injured his hamstring and it lingered all season.

I didn't like the Daniel Thomas pick, like they say running backs are a dime a dozen. Larry Johnson and Steve Slaton IMO are better qualified to hold the #2 RB spot. (wow this thread sounds like a spin off of my Gametime thread... so many *****z)
