If our FO was afraid of that they would've never traded for him. Sometimes you have to take risks with players, Reggie looked great when we bumped up his carries, it's not like he sustained a serious injury he suffered a minor injury that a lot of players get when they play through a whole season.
We shouldn't tell Reggie he can't be an every down back when he plays in his first year of the no.1 RB, I'd rather risk Reggie getting injured and getting 1300 yards out of him than playing it safe and getting 800 yards out of him.
I pretty much agree. When a back like Reggie gets a little dinged up, it's because he "can't carry the load". Nevermind that Daniel Thomas missed way more games than him, or that nearly every starting running back in the league missed as many or more games. What about Matt Forte, Arian Foster, Adrian Peterson, Darren McFadden, etc.? The list goes on and on.
The fact of the matter is, it's all a matter of perception. The running back position probably takes more hard hits than any in sports, and a 240 pound back has the same chance of having his ankle turned the wrong way or taking a hit to the knee as a guy much smaller.
