Reggie Bush on starting the season 0-2.

Well Reggie why dont you go out there and make some plays?

Demand to be on kick off returns, demand to be on punt returns.

ya i dont understand this.

aside from being able to make big plays in the passing game, reggie seemed to be a dynamic punt returner on the saints. it boggles my mind as to why he is not back their returning punts for us, especially when the other options are bess, who as much as i like blows as a punt returner, and gates, who may have speed, but he has now shown the ability in the return game yet.

why not let someone who has proven to be able to return punts to do.

Sparano needs to make it to the bye week at 2-2 . . . that means putting Bush on returns, getting him out in space and allowing him to make plays. All this "proving your point" running Reggie in between the tackles is just meh . . . we wanna see Reggie make people miss not slam it up the middle for 3 yards a carry. Sparano is the most stubborn coach I think I have ever seen.

Week 3's have been difference making weeks for the Dolphins under this regime for the most part . . . I wanna see how this team responds to all the adversity when they hit Cleveland. This honestly could be the "break" week for the Dolphins and Sparano. It is a must win to be honest with you and Tony better be willing to do everything possible to win, including putting Reggie Bush on punts.

That's on Daboll, not Sparano.

I don't think Sparano micromanages his coordinators. That was the problem last year with Henning. The few times he ran the offense, they were pretty dang good.

I think Sparano's big problem is he trusts his coaches too much. He has his issues to, and if he trusts his coaches too much then I agree we should let him go.

But I wonder if this is the case of a guy who is just too nice, and trusts his staff and players too much.

Those of you wanting Bush to return punts only look at 1 of of his 3 seasons. 2 of those seasons he was average 1 and horrible the others.

You have to allow these guys Like Gates and stuff to get opportunities. I would expect a change if Bess and Gates don't get it done this week. Maybe even after half time

I am guessing because they dont wanna get him hurt, which I guess I could understand the first two games because they didnt know how Thomas would perform. Well now that we know Thomas is capable I say that Bush should be put back there for kickoffs and punts. Especially if your not gonna play him during the game? I mean he only had a few snaps in the Texans game..But he needs to be put back there..Gates is not getting the Job done....Kickoffs and Punts are an easy way to get a guy like Bush the ball..if they kick away from him so be it.

yup, and also maybe by putting him back their for punt returns, we will start with quality field position once in a while, rather than our usual starting spots of our own 10-20 yd line.

Bush's only significant injuries have come returning punts....having him on the field for 6 offensive snaps is stupid.

Did you notice that in week 1 Daboll opened up the offense and it was effective then against the Texans it went back to the same old close to the vest conservative **** that was here long before Daboll was? Do you realize the common denominator there?
