Reggie Bush sets lofty goals for '12

first off, I love Bush.............Reggie!

secondly, Reggie is the hardest worker on the team. it was a breath of fresh air hearing about him staying after practices last season to catch balls or block or work with other teammates. He may not lead the league in rushing, but he will work his *** off and get himself in the best shape he can be in order to carry the load like a lead leading rusher should.

Bush should be thinking touch down on every play, not 4 yards. He won't lead the league.

Reggie is the best player on this offense..... Why shouldn't he be setting goals.
What makes you think he doesn't want to score TD's?

You're spot on!

Reggie, thus far has been that #1 RB that people said he could not be. He was brought here by a steal of a trade, and in his first year performed admirably. Minus the questions about him being injury prone, Reggie has surpassed even the most skeptic observers expectations. He has all the qualities to indeed lead the league in rushing, however, it will take a total team effort this year to get her done, because opposing coaches now know of 22's true abilities. I say, run him in the ground! Since we are deep at the position, why not feed the guy in both the running and passing game exclusively, while having Daniel Thomas playing relief, and Lamar Miller handling special teams. Give the guy touches, he deserves them.......at least this year.

There is a possibility ... the planets could allign ....

Our Offense needs to find yards/points somewhere ... Reggie's as good as any other candidate we've got, AND can overcome some other O-shortcomings

Reggie's in a contract year ... usually means a big year

Reggie still has a chip on his shoulder ... wants to show he can bang & is a go-to RB

If this West Coast-ola materializes ... the quick strike suits Reggie's strengths.

He should set goals and and I never said he shouldn't. He said the 4 yard thing. I just want him to score and help this team win. I am not doubting his skills as a player just not likely to lead the league in rushing. He is one of are weapons and we will utilize his ability.

Bush averaged more yards per carry than the NFL's rushing champion last year and still had almost 600 yards less. I truly believe Bush is capable of accomplishing this goal if he could stay healthy and get enough carries but both of those things are very far from a lock to happen. He had the most carries of his career last season by far and he would need to get at least 5 more a game this season while playing all 16 games for this goal to even be remotely possible
