Come on. I don't write much on this board and i love this board, but why does Reggie play RB and return kicks and Ted Ginn can not. I like Davon Bess and think he will be good for us, but COME the F**K ON. Have him return kicks! Enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our best players at each position need to play!!!!! PERIOD!

I know right. Bush is better than Ginn at returning kicks, but Ginn is still one of the best at it. No reason not to have him return kicks. Its just stupid really. What a waste.

i agree.. i think they just dont wanna risk losing a reciever when we dont really have any to begin with.. but maybe they will change their mind and hopefully cuz bess isnt gettin it done

He's been playing, he hasn't be playing well at all when he's been returning kicks this season.

Thanks for the insights, armchair quarterbacks.

I think the Dolphins brain trust is doing just fine.

Would I like to see Ginn get a few more reps as a returner? Sure. But if the coaching staff doesn't see fit to make the move, then I'm cool with that.

They seem to know what they're doing, don't you think?

Finally, someone who understands. I love how people on this board think they know more then the coaching staff and front office.

Bush is built like a brick **** house and Ginn is fragile. Bush isn't an every down back, he couldn't handle that last season. So to have him returning kicks is no big deal and it takes a hell of alot more then a pinky finger to take him down.

I remember late last season when I visited Finheaven -- or maybe it was the alternate site -- after a long absence, and several posters were insisting that Reggie Bush was wildly overrated and Lorenzo Booker was his equal. Some posted that Booker was superior.

I replied that in less than a year Bush would be back to his rightful stature as superstar and Booker would be a wiggly meaningless reserve tailback. Luckily, it's with someone else.

Never over react to recent events as opposed to the big picture. That can never be emphasized enough.

no. the coaching staff is not always right. sometimes they outsmart themseleves. like starting chatman over ronnie brown? anyone remember that? or like waiting until game 5 to use Ginn (remember that) or waiting until week 9 to use booker (remember that).....

and if you want exapmples from this staff. remember them un dallas and them using bledsoe too long before they put romo in?

I Know Bush is having a Good Night but I Get so Sick of hearing about Southern Cal Players that Don't really Pan out in the Pro's .....I Like some of the Cane Players in the Past that never get the Credit due !!

The coaching staff continues to try to let Ginn return punts...and frankly he keeps blowing his chances. He was benched for Bess because he let punts drop when noone was around. Then Bess let one drop himself and didn't show to be much better. So, they let Ginn in again in the last game...he proceeded to let another one drop which rolled an additional 20 yds. Lucky for us, there was a penalty and they had to rekick. Then Ginn proceeded to fumble another punt....he picked it up...so we didn't get hurt.

Basically the staff is trying to let him get in...he just keeps showing that he shouldn't be out there. He may be the most gifted physically, but his decision making is lacking...and quite frankly at this point I question his guts.

Much of the fun of being a sports fan is playing armchair quarterback, and speculating what could have been done or what should be done.

If you want sports fans to just pay money and be quiet, you'd lose a lot of fans. And FinHeaven would be a ghost town.

Also, threads like this one can spark conversations, and uncover information some posters were unaware of (coach said this, player has this injury, etc), which can assist them in making sports bets and fantasy football changes.

I don't know.....I don't think I want Ginn to play RB and return kicks. He would get killed playing RB.:foundout:

sorry. In all seriousness though, I wish we could see him back there returning. After seeing what he did last year, Ginn on returns was one of the things I anticipated the most during the offseason. Couldn't wait to see it again.:(

Because Bush isn't really a running back. It is such a tell what the Saints are doing when bush isn't on the field and Duce is. It's down right laughable. I mean I'm watching the Saints game tonight and I don't even know if the Saints fans realize how obvious the playcalling is. They're chanting DUCCCEEEEEE before the play is even run because they know hes getting the ball because Bush isn't on the field.

Bush returns kicks cause hes a scat back/ 3rd wr. Meanwhile Ginns a starting WR for us. Bush comes off and goes on the field almost every play, where as if Miami is sustaining a drive, Ginn barely comes off the field at all.

Just trying to get the ball into Bess' hands more is all. He probably has better footwork anyways and is not that much slower in the speed department.

I have no problem with giving a young guy a shot and in turn not having our best deep threat getting crushed 3-4 extra times a game.
