Where does Bush rank this coming year for NFL RB's? Top 5? Top 10?

I'd love to put him in the top 5 considering the "west coast" Philbin will put in place but am I just being a homer??

Plays with a lot of heart (I recall him saying we basically sucked as a team, causing a big uproar right before we started winning)

Could he challenge Foster, Rice, McCoy for rushing title this year?

In no particular order, I'd take the following over Bush if there was a draft.

Ray Rice
Chris Johnson
Arian Foster
Mojo Drew
LeSean McCoy
Frank Gore
Micheal Turner
Stephen Jackson
Adrian Peterson
Reshard Mendenhall
DeAngelo Williams
Matt Forte
Darren McFadden

He had a great year but he is not one of the top backs, now if he can improve on last year and keep it up he has the talent. Im hoping he becomes a top back

Not Mendy, Gore (injury),Turner (age?)....can't argue with the rest of the list though. Thnx

Pretty legit list, idk if I'd take Mendenhall or Turner (and Williams seems to be not what he was once)

Yeah, lets not get too high on R-Bush just yet.

IF he can build on what he did, stay healthy (Something McFatten hasn't, nor will ever do) then maybe in 2 years you can start talking about him as a legit weapon.

If we get the line in order than I think he could be a top 10 RB. We need to find a way to get him involved in the passing game. I don't checking down so he's hit in the backfield!!!

Hopefully with the new offense we can become a great screen team, even DT can catch and run well so it would be great to finally use the RBs properly in the passing game.

I really, honestly believe that over 50% of our problems were because of our team being run by sad clowns. We have talent, it just hasn't been utilized properly.

I totally agree, they didn't try to make Clyde Gates part of the offense.

what good is is speed only on kickoffs? We needed the speed to set everyone else up on offense.

Bush had a good year, but I'd be worried if he had to carry the ball 20-25 times a game for 16 or 18 games. We need a viable second RB, which we dont have imo.

tbh Philbin's running game plan sucks, Starks and Grant struggled despite defenses being more concerned with stopping the pass. If you watched the Packers you'd notice their run plays were very predictable. Half the reason Bush did so well is because of how good Daboll was at setting up the run, look at the Cleveland Browns, how good they were running the ball when they had Daboll, and how much they fell off without him.

Now I"m not trying to say Daboll is a better coordinator. But I think he is better in the run game, which means Reggie will probably regress this year.

It's a strong a point, but that's mccarthy really more then philbin. philbin is a passing guy though, and whatever deficencies (spell?) he might have as far as run play calling, i think sherman can mask, as thats something he prides himself on..? daboll was a pretty cool run caller though, but you have to admit it was spotty. some games were better then others
