i expect some decent production from him overall.will he have as many rush yds?prob not,but he'll make up for that in the passing game.

Wow, what a homer poll and results.

If you look at the odds of ANY running back in his 7th year having another great season after having the best season of his career, the odds are really small that he will better last year.

I will vote that I HOPE he has a better or as good season then last year.

I know I'm being a downer here but if Sean Payton and Drew Brees could not give him better seasons then why do we expect Philben and Matt Moore to?

Another thing that bothers me is how I keep reading that Matt Moore sucks even though he had a pretty good season. The reason given that he sucks is that we played the 10 worse defense in the NFL (or something like that) during the games he won. Well, also are those the same games and teams that R Bush played well in? R Bush was having a horrible seasons before Matt Moore started playing well.

So let me ask, would anyone that voted that Reggie Bush will have a better season this year also vote that Matt Moore will have a better season?

If not, then why?

i see him having a marshall faulk type impact in the wco. not saying he is or as good as faulk, i just think he will be used the same way

What does Matt Moore have anything to do with Reggie Bush have a good season??? We don't even know Moore is going to be our starting QB this year!

No one is saying Bush have a break out 1300-1400 yard rushing season, but barring significant injury he could have another 1,000 yard rushing year. In the passing game I do expect him to become a lot more involved...it would just make sense in the WCO.

Sorry if all that's too "homeristic" for some of you.

I voted for the "same as last year" option, but I will qualify that a little. I do not think that he will top the 1,000 yards mark on the ground again nor do I think he will play a full 16 games (or even 15 like 2011). I can see Thomas and Slaton getting more carries this year in order to keep Bush fresh, which will lessen his chances of a big year on the grond. However, I do think he will have 500-600 yards in receiving with Philbin coming out and saying that they want to get him the ball in space more than last season.

I predict a stat line something like - 650 yards rushing, 40 catches for 500 yards receiving and 6-10 total TDs. I would be more than happy with that from him.

You are totally missing my points.

P.S. My point is that Matt Moore had the best season of any Dolphin QB in years, the 12th QB with a rating of 87.1. The reasons that I read most often for his playing well is that the teams he won against had the worse defenses in the NFL.

Those are the same "very bad" defenses that Reggie Bush played well against. Look at the game logs of Reggie Bush's first games (and some bad games later)

Yes, he had some big games and ran for over 1,000 yards in his first season but if you give Reggie Bush credit for playing well, why does NO ONE give Matt Moore any credit?

You can look at what we did under Sparano, but it wont matter. We have a new coach and a new offensive system. Miami was 6th in rushing attempts last year. Green bay was 26th. I'd expect big changes from the run first approach we've had for the last 10 years.
Green Bay also has the best receiving corp in the league. Right now, on this team, Reggie Bush is our best offensive weapon.

Considering he really wasn't used the first part of the season how could he not do better? As good as he looked in the second part your dreaming if you think Thomas will see significant time.

yeah. philbin running a RBBC the last few years probably wouldnt have any impact on reggie carries vs thomas's carries.

or the fact that once Reggie's carries got bumped up, he hurt his knee. us "dreamers" are expecting the same type of split as last year with a healthy thomas... about 60-40 in favor of reggie.

I think we need to get a bit further along in the process of learning what Philbin may or may not do before we have this pole question...Thomas actually fits the zone blocking running scheme better than Bush, but Bush could be more versatile in the WCO as Philbin runs it. The question will be how much input Sherman really has as he has a slightly different view of the RB and may use Bush more in different positions than Philbin might in his version...I didn't vote as i think it's too soon to be able to tell...

Nevermind this post...jez.
