no im not here to explain or anything so im keepin it simple. im also not blaming the whole loss on him either. im just tired of seeing him make little mistakes that give the opposing teams a big play. it also isnt the first time he tripped himself during a play lol

He was the guy covering on 3 consecutive catches to 3 different Jet receivers.

I'm going to keep it simple too..... Amen brotha

After watching the game, his performance is what stuck out most to me. We made plenty of mistakes (i.e. penalites, run game, etc.) but his performance is the one that stayed in my mind. Anytime there was an open jet, he was the one who was responsible for the coverage. I've heard about his inconsistencies ever since we picked him up, but I didn't actually realize them until today (minus Surtain). I might not be the first to say it, but I'm definitely on the 'start Travis Daniels' train.

The Jets were picking on him that much is clear.

ok, not too simple. He looked horrendous, but next to the other crap that was going on with the rest of the secondary, he was alright. And that's sad

agreed

the loss was a team thing, but howard had a LOT to do with it.

the first drive: his whiff gave McCareins that catch.... and mccareins had to WAIT for several seconds for the ball to arrive? where was Howard? not within ten yards of his man....

The second Jet scoring drive: Howard was picked on many times, and 4 out of the 7 pass completions from Pennington were at Howard. Howard did not defend ONE of them. In fact he didn't even tackle 3 of those 4 guys....

Howard was a waste of space this game. I think Will Poole on crutches out there could have performed better.

I'm not so sure about Daniels either. Was it just me, or did he have more than enough time during the first TD to turn the freak around and at least acknowledge that the freakin' ball is in the air. I saw allot of that too, with everyone. They seemed to be okay with waiting until the WR caught the ball, and then they reacted. Stop me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see one break on the ball in the air, not one near interception that was the result of anticipation, just no "want" out of the entire secondary
