reggie nelson slipping

Well, we gotta take him if he's there at #40.

Why? If what they say about his intelligence is accurate, why invest that high of a pick on a player that may have a hard time learning the system? Jason Allen is supposed to be a pretty bright guy and he had loads of trouble last year.

That was harsh on Siler. What a great kid he is.

If someone gets Nelson in the late 1st round it is going to be an absolute robbery. He outplayed Landry last year; I really don't know what more you could hope for in a FS.

I was wondering when this was going to come up. Not to knock reggie nelson but its pretty well known that he is not bright at all, exactly why he didnt go to UF directly in the first place. I went to high school 10 min away from him and knew some people who graduated with him at palm bay and it was basically the running joke at the school how low his scores were.

I think its absurd to think that nelson is not football bright enough for the NFL. Nobody was saying the same about jason Allen last year who scored an 11 on the wonderlic. Ed Reed and Shawn taylor both scored lower than Nelson on the wonderlic. Watch Nelson play and tell me he don't have football smarts. Much better looking prospect than Jason Allen at safety and outplayed Landry all year. Ran a 4.3 at his pro day. Why should he have stayed in school to accomplish what. Leinhart stayed in school and got drafted like 10 picks after he would have the previous year. rod Wright stayed in school and almost did not get drafted playing hurt. I truly think the expert that wrote the article thinks he is a little brighter than he actually is.
Dexter manly couldn't read but I guarantee he had football smarts.

To be fair, PFW tends to be outrageous, and LenDale White would have went in the first round had he not been injured and been able to workout at 100% for the scouts.

I think the Denver Broncos will take him.
posible i still think the jags take him at 17 denver prioritys are DE WR RB S but anything is possible picks 9-40 could vary big time because the talent is spread out and you go with your gut

If the Jaguars take him, they officially have the most dangerous defensive back corps in the league. I mean, wow.
