Most of us realize we don't have a QB right now.

The fact that Michael Vick was playing out of his arse yesterday hitting 71% percent of his passes coupled with Gus playing so poorly is why we lost the game. Vick came into this game only hitting 52.4% of his passes, if he had played anywhere near his normal level I think we win this game despite Gus.

If you look at it, despite how unusually hot Vick was, we still had a chance to tie this and maybe go on to win this game right to the end.

I feel good about this team and the physical way we played the game, I'm quite sure Vick will be in the trainers hot tub today.

The running game is looking good, the O-line is playing better, we just need a QB and a few more pieces Saban willl find and we will be a contender.

Some of you have no patience and expect too much too fast, remember the state of this team last year, look back at all the horrible drafts of the past 5 years prior to Saban and enjoy this ride as he builds a champion.

I agree we need a better QB, but you have to admit that the offensive play-calling has been TERRIBLE, so it's really NOT all Gus' fault. Gus shouldn't be in ANY position to LOSE ballgames like he has been doing.

If your quarterback can't be trusted to make throws to win games you need a new QB.

its clear that we are in need (as we have been for four years) of a quarterback. we also need a number 1 wr. CC is too inconsistent. also, my goodness, ronnie and ricky were running they ices off, and we all of a sudden...stop giving them the rock? playcalling/qb play/ wr play/ false starts/ donny jones(?lol).

I have my doubts about the play calling also. The six times Ronnie and Ricky were in together we passed the ball, what did the Falcons defense expect when they were in together again? That doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. If Linehan had changed the play to a run it would of caught them off guard and no interception. Besides, Linehan should realize his quarterbacks weakness.

Just a QB. Well if that's alll........:shakeno: . Blue, I do agree with you though. As Dolphins fans we are an impatient lot. We want to go to the Playoffs every year. You really can't blame us though. Historically we've almost always been in the hunt or leading the pack.

It's just painful to have sat there and watched us pay tribute to Dan at half time. For years we had no running game and no Defense. Now we get those things figured out and he's gone.

We need to be patient. But, man it's tough knowing how good we could be RIGHT NOW if we had a QB.

I did add "and a few more pieces".

I agree this team is just a few player away from being a very good team. The O-Line is looking better and better every game. The running game is looking better and better. The D, we need a couple players in the secondary, but we have Poole that is hurt and Daniels looks to be pretty good.

I think next year we will be a good team, maybe make the playoffs. The year after that though I think we will be contending for the superbowl. The key is we have to get a good QB.

I thought we played a very physical game. A couple of those hits almost put me into tears. I was upset with our play calling. I think we tried the reverse too much and I am getting tired of seeing the screens that never seem to develop. Play to our strength. Ricky seems to be finding his niche again and Ronnie is a monster.

Amen to that

I'm not gonna say Linehan didn't have a bad day yesterday, everybody has them once in a while.

The point is, if our quarterback was more accurate and hit the passes we barely missed ion this game and many others we have played you wouldn't be complaining so hard about the playcalling.

im just glad this team is on the up, and not on the down (which is what they were for the last 4 seasons)
