He is just chilling and making sure he gets what he wants before he signs on the dotted line. I know a guy that knows a big guy that knows a horse and tomorrow fisher will become the coach of the Miami dolphins. He is making sure his demands are met, he wants more control of the team than ireland, he wants to know whats happening with carl peterson etc etc. All his questions have been answered and tomorrow it will go down. So relax on bashing the dude, its a big decision and you don't just jump into these.

Are you taking the first offer when you buy a car, no your chilling waiting for them to throw in some stuff, when they say we will lower the price throw in floor mats , undercoating and give you rims you say DONE and sign.. same thing going on with Fish..

Be easssssssssssssssssy

Logic doesn't apply to a majority of the posts that concern critical thinking but thanks for attempting :-)

see the thing is... he's a good coach, and I actually want him... but is he really worth all of this b@ll$#!t??? Answer is: NO.
This is when it becomes all about him and not the situation he's walking into. It's not all about the team that WE love.

We at least have interviewed some decent alternatives..so I wouldn't be angry with any of the others.besides mularkey but he is in jacksonville now.lol

He finished his interviews with the Rams this past weekend and said he would need until the end of the week to decide. So i don't understand all the drama queens on this board. The OP wasn't eloquent, but was correct. Chill.

I agree. People are freaking out about it for no reason. Are people really sitting in front of their computers all day waiting for some news?

Remember how excited Dolphin fans were when we got Jimmy Johnson??!! How about Nick Saban??!! This is how this whole thing feels with Fisher. It scares me because it's like we're doomed to failure once again after getting the big name.

Like your analogy.. especially when it applies to jumping into a committed marriage, complete with expensive, non-refundable engagement ring on the basis of only knowing a woman after 2 dates, although they were Grrrrrrreat!. And Matt Flynn is essentially that same buying of a pig in a poke with eyes wide shut!

whats funny is you would have said the same thing about aaron rodgers when he was sporting his mullet and occasionally getting a game rep replacing brett favre...i know you would have

OP is correct. Some of these people think that everyone should view the Dolphins as they do and that the choice is a no-brainer.

This is a JOB to Jeff Fisher. And when you interview for big boy positions and you have several companies applying for your services, you need some time to do what is best for you and your family.

You dudes need to get a grip on life.

I feel you and I do want a coach that wants to be here, and one that doesnt have to be talked into wanting to couch the phins. That being said I have to agree with what this thread says

The hell I would have..
he was my choice for athe 2nd pick and a preemptive top10 pick. He was actually drafted to be Favre's replacement not some camp fodder taken as an afterthought after Brian Brohm. And I know similarly that after 2 trips around town you'd take the Hyundai instead of the Bummer eh?

oh thats right...you were in the aaron rodgers camp from the get go...i forgot...funny thing is though until i came on here and started talkin rodgers and finley up as the studs they were becoming during rodgers first full year as a starter there wasn't a peep on here about rodgers...heck no one was talking about him after he banged the cards in the postseason for some rediculous numbers...

anyways... i already have a hyundai...his name is matt moore...i'm looking for the hummer
