Remember former QB John Beck?

Bill Parcells delegated the task of identifying the QB to draft to Ireland, Sparano and Henning. They looked at Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco and Chad Henne and their unanimous recommendation was Henne (and they figured that Chad would last til late in the 2nd round). Knowing what we now know, would you really entrust the three amigos for such an important task of selecting your franchise QB? Why am I not surprised that they unanimously selected the worst of the three? Triple fistpump Tony for all the field goal opportunities...

Actually I've read we wanted flacco and had to settle for henne

I read it somewhere and probably none of the 3 amigos is very proud and wants to talk about it. The story I heard is that they liked all of them but saw Henne as incredible value and their decision was unanimous. Big Tuna insisted on that. They could get their big Left Tackle Jake Long, their franchise QB and the top of the 2nd round pick they could strengthen the D-line with Merling.

Same **** happened with Chris Bosh . . . hardly anybody liked Bosh, then Lebron leaves everybody is down . . . and then Chris Bosh announces he is returning to the Heat and Heat fans down here walking around with their chest out like we going for 5 Finals in a row. Just too funny.

And so were: AJ Feely, Brian Griese, Chad Henne.....heck people even glamored for Ray Lucas before he took his first snap with us.
 
I still like John BEck....good guy....like Tim Tebow on estrogen...

and the dude who GB took ahead of Henne one selection eartlier is now playing for Winnipeg in the CFL - Brian Brohm if you recall

Henne is still in the league (Perhaps that is why the War room shouted in joy when GB passed on Henne)
 
I tried to forget him. He surfaced w the skins a couple years ago.
 
i was so proud that i was able to took a picture with him and talk to him during a ride in the london eye when the dolphins played the giants in london some years ago and then he was out of the league a couple years later
