lmao

You mean the more toxic of Sherman's nepotistic hires? Kudos to Mr Ross for telling Philbin "either he gets replaced or you go too!"

I don't have anything against the man personally but he wasn't ready to be an NFL coach.

Terrible coach and he had years to put something together. Benton comes in after year one, five new starters and our OL looks like a real nfl OL

Behind Kacy Rodgers (who we should never let go, ever. Give the man an extension now before he starts receiving DC or HC positions) I think he's (Benton) our second best position coach which says a lot. Although Lou Anarumo (albeit with veteran talent) has also helped keep us relevant. Brent Grimes is just awesome though so he could be making him look better but Reshad has looked legit at times under his direction (especially atm).

He has been regarded as an elite o line coach for years, I suspect if he was going to get an OC position he would have got it long ago. Some guys just don't quite have the skills for the more wide-reaching roles.

Getting him was quite the coup.
