not to put our dolphins in the league of the steelers just yet, however, i do remember the steelers going into last year with ZERO expectations. they were coming off a 6-10 season with a good defense. Roethlisberger did have a fantastic rookie season. They ran the ball and smothered with the defense. Who's to say our team can't have a winning record or even a playoff run?

It's right there, only our team can determine (through its play) whether or not we have a good record and make a playoff run or not.

Let's all relax and just enjoy the season, to heck with expectations let's see where this team will take us ;)

i am more than excited. i've taken sunday's off for the next 4 months before we had hope. now that we have hope i'm so pumped. trust me i'm living in the moment, but still wondering what the future holds.

So what you are saying is that our season will end at the hands of the patriots. We don't need a comparison for that to be a possibility.

I personally think they remind me of the 1983 San Antonio Rough Riders. No one had them even winning five games, but I think they won six that year.

a lot of teams are thinking about the steelers. but i also remember them loosing in the playoffs.

In the words of Big Daddy Kane, "you need to play like Roy Rogers and Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow down" but I do like the thought process!!!

Steelers also had one helluva of punishing ground game to rely on.

Easy does it.

i know i didn't expect old man bettis to do what he did...a ricky/ronnie backfield is also quite impressive. if we can go 3-1 before rick comes back...it will be an interesting season.
