Ok. I know ESPN is a bunch of nitwits and they hate us. Maybe some of you read their purple smoke hot garbage articles about how bad we'll be. I ask the doubters out there to remember where we were last when Tannehill was on the field. We had gone 7-1. We had faced a muderer's row at the time and were the talk of the league. We now have T-Hill back with a full year of standing next to Gase causing him to fully comprehend the offense. If anyone is anything other than positive about our season now, they should burn their jerseys. Great things are going to happen this year!

I'll never forget how peaceful this place was around that time. Even the biggest RT critics/haters were either not posting at all or beginning to acknowledge he was turning the corner.

Last season this place was a burning garbage fire for reference.

The problem with your theory is that this is a completely different team than the last time Tannehill took the field for a regular season game. I'm glad you are optimistic, but I've seen this show before and the best ending is 8-8. I'll gladly burn my jerseys because they are now trash: Landry, Ajayi, and Suh.

I think we can start 8-2 or 7-3 to start the year. Losses could be at NE, Hou and GB. Why can't we go 5-1 last 6 with a loss at MN?

I would add most of this offseason and lately in particular as a very low point on this site. I often ask myself why do "some" of the incesent negative posters and you know who you are keep coming back?
I mean why put yourselves through this it's not worth it!!! I feel that for your mental health and quite possibly physical health that you all obstain from this site until you are able to see that the sky is not falling and the sun will come up tomorrow!!! Haha

What's funny though is i predict most of you won't and will even prove my point in this very thread. 3,2,1.......

Agreed. Been a fan since '79. Every year I think we have a chance because we do. This year I'm all in based upon the media trashing us over and over. We're going 11-5. Write it down.

Meanwhile if you don't agree. That's fine. I'm not dellusional I;ve experienced the last 18 years since Marino too. Just don't be a hater and say you're a fan.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, brother. And many of us have been burned before. I remain the optimist, but I can totally understand those who are wary.

Eh we had a 5-2 streak in 2013 and 2014 during the 2014 streak we were 8th in points scored and had the #1 defense. Compared to 2016 when we were 14th in points scored and had the 16th ranked defense.

I'm cautiously optimistic, we're all fans and we all have our opinions. Being a true fan is not about having unbridled optimism it's about supporting your team. I'm sure most of us watched all or most of last seasons train wreck season because we're all fans.

Ultimately the only streak that matters is going on a 4-0 win streak in this years playoffs.

I will not forget that's for sure, some of the best Dolphin performances in a long time in those 8 games.

* Jay Ajayi running for 200 yards a whopping 3 times!
* Drakes return for a TD late in 4th quarter to beat the jets in a low scoring game.
* Kiko's pick 6 to win the chargers game
* Tannehills throw in SD to Stills in the back of the endzone under heavy pressure, that was nice.
* Tannehills TD to Stills at the end of the Pitt game, may not have been the greatest pass but the result was memorable and I appreciated him going for it.

I’m not a Tannehill hater, and love your optimism, but I struggle with your recollection of facts. Murders Row? Of the 8 games Ryan started that we won there was 1 winning team the Stealers. 7-1...Is not accurate. Ryan’s record as a starter in 2016 was 7-5 entering the game against the Cardinals. He did start the game against the Cards, but Matt Moore was at the Healm for the game winning drive.

I am optimistic about this year and think Ryan will have his best season. This could be the best oline he has played behind, not saying much, if our T play can improve. He will have the most dynamic group of RBs, WR, and TEs, he has ever played with. 8-8 to 10-6 is the gauge where we should be with this roster.

Tannehill was fantastic right before he got hurt. It’s one thing to have a good 3-4 game stretch but he had around a 105 qb rating for almost half a season. Can’t ask for much more than that.

I think any reasonable fan expects huge improvement at the quarterback position this season.

I actually think Jay Cutler is entertaining, and don't hate him like a lot of people do, but he was absolutely dreadful for most of 2017.
