It seems like ancient history but, this actually did happen in game #1 vs the Pats this year.

Wake- 2 sacks, 2 hits, and 3 hurries

OV- 1- 2- 4

Odrick- 0- 2- 3

Starks- 0- 0- 4

Michell- 0- 1- 3

McCain- 1- 0-0

We got to Brady for 4 sacks, 7 hits, and 18 hurries.

Don't know what happened to that DL lately. Would be great to see history repeat.

I think NE wilted in the heat. We were more prepared to play in it. It will be different this time as they will respect it with short quick passes and cram the ball down our throats in the running game.

We got NE at the best possible time back in the Miami September heat. That's not the same NE we'll be playing tomorrow.

I do not believe the heat meant a damn thing in that game. Our DL played with desire, emotion, and just beat the guy in front of them. JMO

Don't think it had much to do with the heat either SB2...The Pat's Oline was not playing well then either (KC game also), unfortunately they seemed to have corrected that situation.

I believe the heat help us. How can it not? Also, we had Alberts and Moreno in that game.

Other than Volmer, who got beat up by Wake, the Pats OL has not been good at pass blocking, especially on the interior. IF our DL plays up to their talent, they will get to Brady. Having a real 2nd NFL CB will help Coyle a lot in not having to protect him as he had to lately.

For the year, PFF has NE at #28 in pass blocking, and #15 in run blocking. They have us at #30 in pass blocking, and #25 in run blocking.
