Remember this? Fins - Bills

And then the sour taste in all of our mouths after the Championship Game. Our defense was so hot and cold that year.

I got to talk to Louis Oliver at a recording studio a few years back and that was the very first thing I brought up. He was super cool and surprised I brought that up lol

I loved Oliver. JJ had a hard on for him for some reason and ran him out.

That game the Dolphins looked like a legit contender. Destroyed the Bills in Buffalo 37-10. Sucks that the season ended in disappointment in the AFC Championship game as Marino & the offense turned the ball over multiple times while the Dolphins defense couldn't do enough to stop the Bills. Not sure if the Dolphins would have fared any better than the Bills in the Superbowl that year but would have been nice to have seen Marino get another shot at a ring . Just couldn't get passed the Bills. In '94 they lucked out as the Bills were out of their way but of course they blew the game in San Diego.

Very cool. I met him during a Dolphins block party in Miami around thanksgiving a few weeks ago. Cool guy and loved talking football.

He was at the stadium earlier in the season as well. The hit man is very personable. I think he was front cover of the Dolphin Digest the following week after this int.

Dolphin Digest! Received that for years. It's where you got your info before the digital age. Wasn't Andy Cohen the editor?

Ah yes, back in the days when we read things printed on paper... :)

We didn't get nearly as much information in those days but also it was harder for some of the straight-up horrible "writers" we have to endure to get access to media then.
