For about a month it has been preached on this site that if we beat the Bills this Denver game was not a must win and that we are expected to lose it anyway. And most of you here said as much.

With that being said, I will be totally disappointed if we lose today, I will be crushed, but I won't get on this site saying fire that guy, fire this guy, this team sucks, I'm going to stop watching Fins games blah blah blah

I guess what I'm saying is let cooler heads prevail here after the game IF we lose. We all know this forum is very comical with knee jerk reactions after a loss but just remember what was said leading up to this game.

If we're blown out......that's another story altogether.

Most people were pretty civil after the Detroit game, as it was the #1 D. I'd expect the same after today.

It's a nice sentiment and I totally agree. However as long as the mods keep a certain couple of people around its a pipe dream. The forums will look exactly as you described with a loss. It's a shame too.

IMO, any vocal cowards who become scarce whenever Tannehill shook off the funk and ended up performing like a top 10QB have forfeited the privilege to post in game or OP threads this week.
 
Some people will always knee jerk. But its usually the same guys who don't post all week. Only on GameDay

I think a lot of those people were under the impression the Patriots weren't going to dominate going forward.
 
If the Dolphins lose today their playoff chances take a major hit. 10 wins may not cut it this year.
 
Miami had both GB and Detroit beaten, but lost because they couldn't get a first down to run out the clock. IMO, because of those 2 losses they need to win out, or go 5-1 with the only loss against Minnesota (since it isn't a conference or division game). 10 wins may not get them into the post season, but 11 should do it.... although I'd prefer a 12-4 record.

those 2 losses were to a non conference teams. I don't see how we won't get in at 10-6 with KCs though schedule and steels and bengals still having to face each other twice on top of having the tie breaker on SD and Baltimore (assuming we beat them)

What? People in finheaven changing their opinions week to week? That doesn't sound right to me...you're really taking a leap.
