Trace started 0 games in 98 played all 16 had 10.5 sacks
started 2 games in 99 played in all 16 and had 7.5 sacks
started 0 games in 2000 played all 16 and had 16.5 sacks and 7 forced fumbles.

I think using Jason Taylor in this kind of role, really would not be a bad idea. I know some drama comes with it, but still losing Holiday's leadership would be corrected with Jason back. any thoughts?

Which reminds me, Armstrong was a BEAST during that game against the Jets with the Marino Spike. The Jets had the ball and we were rushing 3 and Trace sacked Boomer twice that drive to kill their hopes. Man i have that game somewhere on tape...gotta go find it now..lol.

No thanks , no room for hyped up movie star ego's in our locker room . JT was released because he didn't want to take part in pre-season workouts , not a focussed professional in my opinion therefor not worthy of being a piece in our ever improving jigsaw.

Don Shula has been in more movies than Jason Taylor. lol

I'm not opposed to bringing JT back but Cam Wake has much more of a chance at having that kind of an impact than JT does at this point. Although I do think Wake will end up a starter and be a very good player for us. I'm not even saying JT couldn't come in and put up those types of #'s, he's definately capable of it I just don't see him coming back to Miami.

A person with the name NEW HOPE wants JT back. Unbelievable

Get over it....he's gone and nowhere near as good as he was. Let it go.

I just remember when Trace knocked Doug Flutie's head off in the playoff game about 10 years ago... Great moment!

How can you compare wake a guy who has ZERO total nfl sacks, to JT a several probowl canplayer, who is top 5 in career sacks. Wow

I would love to have Jason Taylor back on the team, but you have to be kidding if you think that Taylor would even be offered a contract while this front office is still here. From the day that Parcells/Ireland/Sporanno came, there seemed to be friction with JT and the regime. I have seen wierder things in sports, but I just dont see this move happening.

let it go guys....JT didn't want to play for us cause he wanted to play for a "winner"....let him play for another winner, not us.

Ozzy rules!!

Trace Armstrong didn't become a Dolphin until 1995 and the Spike Play was in 1994. Are you maybe thinking of the games Trace had against Buffalo in 1996? He absolutely abused Buffalo's tackles in both games.

I seem to remember in that game that Tim Bowens was blowing up the center of the Jets offensive line on two or three consecutive plays late in the game. Is it perhaps that you're thinking of that sequence?

Nope. I think that ship has sailed. I loved Trace though. Him planting Flutie on the 2 during the Flutie Flakes game was one of my favorite Dolphins moments.
