I remember a draft that wasnt to sexy. it was the begining of a long and fruitful time. we made to pickes at the top of the draft that made a huge difference in this that team. its not a very sexy way to draft, but when we drafted Webb and Sims it was a great thing. we went from a week line to one that was one of the best on that side. they protected dan and he delivered.

i dont see why we dont do it again. i know we need alot but why dont we draft jake long and then hope that one of these 2,Gosder Cherilus or Sam Baker, fall to us it the top of the second round. why not draft a set of bookends and be set for years to come? can you amagine having this line?

I think Carey has shown that he will be a fixture at one of the tackle positions. He has already shown that he can play at a pro-bowl level at the right tackle spot, so that would likely be where he would move if we picked Jake Long. If Jake Long is the pick, I think you would almost have to play him at the LT spot considering how large his contract will be. No right tackle is worth a number one pick, he would at least be given a chance at LT and moved to RT only if it were a disaster.

No way we spend our first two picks on offensive tackles when we already have a very solid one in Carey. I could see us using a second rounder on Albert or Rachal to fill that final LG spot on our starting line depending on if they are available.

Remember Justin Fargas torching our D for almost 200 in the 2nd half, I still have nightmares...Our D needs A LOT of help and talent!

I think 1 OL in the first or Second round would be fine and then go CB or Saftey with the 32nd pick

That would be a sick line. If it has to be one of the Longs instead of Ryan, I'm pulling for Jake.
