.. and all their families and friends who mourn them. It's hard to believe that 8-years have gone by.

I understand this thread may be moved to elsewhere, but since the Fins section is overwhelmingly the most read, thought I'd start it off here.

To all the victims of 911, Rest In Peace;
To all its cowardly perpetrators and their conspirators, Burn In Hell

It was odd today, even thou I looked right at the clock on the dash and it said 9:11am I picked my cell up and the real time was 9:03am.

I will never foget all who have fallen for my freedoms.

Right on Vaark. NEVER forget. And God bless the victims and their families. :flagwave:

For all that have been effected by this horrific event in history my best wishes for you. We all will always remember this day in honor for ones that have die, to the families that bare this day, to the man or woman that fought and are still fighting till this day, and to every American that lived this moment and said we will fight for what we believe and live on with our heads held up high seeking nothing other than happiness.

First day of school for my oldest son - the bitter memory of 9/11 overshadows everything... I will never forget the loss of lives & the destructive ways of religions and people in general...

From citizens of other countries in my case (Canada) who also live outside the U.S. in my case (Argentina) let me extend deepest condolences for all you have suffered... and a heartfelt thanks for all you have sacrificed.

September’s birthstone is Sapphire….The meaning is Clear Thinking.
In the United States, '''Patriot Day''' occurs on September 11 of each year, designated in memory of the nearly three thousand who died in the September 11, 2001, attacks. Most Americans refer to the day as "Nine-Eleven (9/11)," "September 11th," or some variation thereof.

United States House of Representatives Joint Resolution 71 was approved by a vote of 407-0 on October 25, 2001. It requested that the President designate September 11 of each year as "Patriot Day." President George W. Bush signed the resolution into law on December 18, 2001 as Public Law 107-89. It is a discretionary day of remembrance.

Initially, the day was called the Prayer and Remembrance for the Victims Of the Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001.

On September 4, 2002, President Bush used his authority created by the resolution and proclaimed September 11, 2002, as Patriot Day.

On this day, the President directs that the American flag be flown at half-staff and displayed from individual American homes, at the White House, and on all U.S. government buildings and establishments, home and abroad. The President also asks Americans to observe a [[moment of silence]] beginning at 8:46 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, the time of the first plane crash on September 11, 2001.
Clearly, many of our Politicians—today seem to have forgotten—lessons learned. The Fact is that all our young men and women of today’s armed service, who are or have been in Harms Way, their family and loved ones will not forget ---along with the multitudes associated with that day in New York City, the country side in Pennsylvania and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.. That day combined with POW/MIA Day (September 18th) should give each and everyone of us….Pause…..but these two dates along with May 25th and November 11th ….CLEARLY strengthens our…. RESOLVE
MAY GOD BLESS

amen man.

I specially have alot of respect for all the firefighters and the people in uniform that were rushing in while everybody else was rushing out. It takes alot of courage to go into a place like that. They are heroes in my book.
