I know, he screwed up a great thing in Pittsburgh... and i know, instead of going to Disneyland after winning the superbowl, he went into a club with a loaded weapon and shot himself in the leg, BUT he knows he has zero room for mistake and the legal system will probably give him this year in the bigs. I'd say definitely if we took a guy like nicks this year who needed to develop a little, but im still kind of on board for a guy with so much talent, size and playmaking ability. For him to come into a Parcells system, he knows he's already treading on thin ice... is there much to lose. I fear that we lack the tall big play wr. We keep passing on the available guys for reasons I understand but its a low risk, high reward here. It isn't like we're holding anyone back by bringing him in... and if we really are planning on running the spread, it would be nice to have a legitimate threat to just run like hell and take a corner and safety with him. Tell me ginn, greg, and bess cant work the middle in that scenario? Then moving around ronnie and pat out of the backfield?? You may not agree, but it makes a lot of sense. Oh and say it does pan out, maybe we get lucky and he gets off... doubtful, but if seen worse. And if not, he'll come out knowing who gave him a shot and we'll be in line for dibs.
 
first off i really don't think we are going to run the spread so out the window with that notion. and we already have a guy that can run like hell and take a corner and safety with him his name is ginn. what you don't think ginn demands a double or that penny can't get him the ball, look at that game where penny hit ginn in the endzone with double coverage, you know corner and safety. don't get me wrong but sounds like the type of guy your talking about. give ginn another year to develope into a great wr and you won't say that he's not good enough. listen it takes on average 3 years for a rook to develope into a great player so lets see what happens this year.
 
let's just take our chances with ginn, turner & bess/camarillo for now instead of inviting trouble.

Call me old fashioned. I like my WRs like they are.

Bess has his thug creds, clearly, but he feels no need to display them. I have so much respect for Bess, it's unreal. He's made every mistake in the book, and, what did he do? Keep his mouth shut, work hard, and, perform.

I would go to war with that guy any day.

He's the epitome of our FOs strength & resolve. I think the Pats & Jets are somewhat demoralized due to their coaches & other issues & also intimidated by the trifecta's profound success last year. I'm ready for war too, Goon. Let's go.

I wish I could bring WR creds to the table. I can't. I will just say, regardless of football.....I would have Bess as the one I counted on before Plax any day.

All I know Is that he's my favorite WR on this team since Nat Moore.

Goon, why dontcha lie down on the couch & tell us all 'bout this persecution complex ya got going on. Symptoms like hearing voices or being afraid of the dark would be helpful too. Any other weirdness, i mean issues discovered will not be made fun of... i swear.
