'Replithentic' jersey

if its the same thing I'm thinking it is, its well worth the different. The numbers are screen printed onto fabric, and that fabric is sewn on. The numbers are a lot less likely to peel on you. The Jersey is a little heavier but not the weight of the true authentics. The stores here call them semi-authentics.

I actually have one. Randy McMichael...bought it for 60-70 bucks last year. They are better IMO...i have a crappy zach white nike one from like 99.The difference is very palpable. The material on my McMike jersey is very good. Should have an nfl equipment logo on the front of the neck hole

Anybody know the difference between these "replithentics" made by EQT and the "replicas" made by Reebok? I have a Reebok replica and I know that Reebok has the license for the authentic jerseys. I just had never heard of these until this thread.

It seems from what others have stated, that the numbers are printed on another piece of fabric and then stitched on to the jersey, were as the other replicas are silk-screened right on to the jersey itself. Am I wrong in assuming this? If that is the case then that's an inexpensive way to get a more authentic looking replica, not a bad price I might add.

Thanks. I misread the original post ... thought it was asking the difference between the replithentics and the authentics. So I asked the same question again. DOH!

They still suck and also look very cheap. I think everyone should shop e-bay and pony up for an Authentic. Replicas look like crap and take 10 washes to look even worse!

I wish I could. I have a Reebok replica and like it fine. I haven't seen an authentic in person, just the pictures. So, I don't know any better. ;)

Replicas look fine, and last a long time if you know how to take care of them.

Replithentics are much much better though. The names and numbers are much thicker than the reps.

Replithentics go for 100 bucks, and you do assume correct. The numbers though, are thicker than the reps, and will last a lot longer before starting to crack or peel...

I have only bought replicas, and they have been fine for me. My Marino is at least 10 years old, and I can only wish my 2 Ricky jerseys would fall apart so I can have a reason to toss them.

I only wear them on Sundays during football season though.

I washed my Ricky jersey right after the Thanksgiving massacre against Dallas, it came out torn in two different places but the numbers looked fine. I don't wash my jerseys too often now, and when I do I use that little mesh bag thing.
