Vic Lombardi of CBS 4 Denver reports that the Broncos are now "95 percent sure" they will sign free agent Peyton Manning after he reached out to the team late Sunday night.

I have been trying to remain as optimistic as possible about Manning coming to the Dolphins, but I am now really starting to lose hope. Over the past couple of days, there have been zero indications of Manning coming here. As of now, we still do not even have a meeting set up. He is coming back to Miami tonight but that does not necessarily mean anything since Miami is his off-season home. I know things can change quickly, but I am really starting to buy this Manning to Denver thing.

The Dolphins have been tight-lipped about this situation, but if there are no major developments by sometime tomorrow than I would write us off. Tomorrow should be a very interesting day.

If we do not end up with Manning, Ross and Ireland have some serious explaining to do as to what happened since nobody with the Dolphins has said anything so far in regards to the Manning situation.

I wasn't that high on Manning anyway. Thirty-six-year-old quarterback with an arm we're not sure about and might not be able to take another hit; I am not crying over this. I'd rather have Flynn or Moore.

I don't think Ireland or Ross have any explaining to do. Maybe they've been tight lipped because they reached out to Peyton or Condon and they were received with less than mutual interest and they already moved on. I am willing to give Ireland and Ross a pass on this one. If Peyton doesn't come to Miami, and that's looking more and more likely, I think it will have more to do with what Peyton wanted for Peyton and less about Ireland and/or Ross' efforts.

Its not over yet, but i think its funny that now people on this forum are going to start asking that question.

sounds like i've heard that same song and dance before with this front office...if peyton truly does not give miami the time of day it should be telling you all something...

I'll wait for a contract to be signed.

No one knows whats going on anymore.

Fisher to the FINS!....Fisher the RAMS!

Peyton to Denver!....Peyton to AZ!......

Blah Blah Blah

He should at least do the Dolphins the courtesy of talking to them, but if he doesn't want to play for Miami then it is time to move on.

i would have rather peyton just say miami was out of the race along with seattle and washington than to put up all this fuss.then explain wether the phins ever really were a destination in the first place.

could have moved on a long time ago.
