Report: Broncos prepared to do “whatever it takes” to get Peyton

Lol a few things...first, everything I read said Manning is NOT talking contract at this point he is checking out teams. Relax people, Manning has been calculated his whole career...no way he signs with the first team he visits. He will visit all the main teams and go from there. Miami and Arizona will get their chance to woo him. Secondly, IF he does sign with denver it would be a big mistake...no way in hell do they win a SB with Manning. Miami is a better team in all aspects....except OLine. Thirdly, if you have been following the rumor is he doesn't want to play for a cold weather team....last time I checked denver gets pretty cold. All in all, if he signs with Denver then the fins move on to plan B but I find it incredibly unlikely considering he has not even MET or seen Arizona at the very least.
 
Yeah but Arizona is 13 million over the cap so my gut is they're out. :)

i have heard rumors he doesnt want to play in the nfc but he is rumored to heading to arizona for an interview. rumors are rumors at this point.
 
can someone explain to me why a 36 yr old, HoF qb needs to have his daddy with him when he picks a team? Cmon, Peyton would not have his dad fly to denver to meet him and help him make his choice. If anything, it would be the Broncos have been talking to COndon. I know Peyton is close with his dad but he is not 22 anymore, I doubt he has his dad hold his hand anyore.lol
 
Anyone wanna confirm the Archie flying to Denver thing? Because I can't find that anywhere.
 
They said it on the radio here Archie was on the way, but could be getting same bad info. If true, I think things a done deal.
