Report: Broncos prepared to do “whatever it takes” to get Peyton

Calm down and wait until he meets with everyone first. Dolphins going last should help, they can go above and beyond DEN and AZ.

You do realize that if we go above they can counter offer and not like you can only make one offer per team

no,yes,no
past 4 years the AFC East has been ALOT better than the AFC West. You cant dispute that.
Phins won division in 2008, Pats past 3 years, and sprinkle in the Jets wildcard success.

Our division is alot harder to win in, then the AFC West.

Lol I forgot how crazy it gets when something big may happen. This is Fisher and harbaugh all over again. Everyone goes from one extreme to the next with each little piece of info they hear. I mean schefter has gone from complete moron to trustworthy source to complete moron in about 10 minutes. People just need to let the process play out before jumping off a bridge. Has Manning EVER made a rash, quick decision his whole pro life? NO....so why would anyone think he would change now? There is no way he signs with denver before meeting with other teams...that would be completely out of his character. Think about it! Horse mouth doesnt have near the relationship with Manning that Marino does. Contrary to what any reporter says....most say he likes the dolphins as an organization and Miami is the closest contender to a SB out all the rumored suitors except maybe the chiefs, texans, and Niners. Why would Manning sign in denver. He has maybe 3 good years. Denver does not compete next year so that leaves very little margin for error. If Manning signs with the fins, they compete next year!

Talked to my boy in Denver and he said the same thing. Archie is now in town.

No offense but "your boy in denver" seems to be a little less reliable than any major news outlet. Christ I think ESPN had it on their front page that Manning took a dump at 10:15 this morning. No way they would not mention that Archie flew to denver. In fact they have a reporter there and there was no mention of Archie there.

If Miami is closer than Denver how come with better qb play and better talent on offense they beat us and made playoffs. This was only with a coach that had the worst record the previous year. I think we severely overrate how good the talent is on a team that has three straight loing seasons

I wouldn't be scared if it was just Peyton there, but the Archie thing is nuts. He is the guy who makes alot of this stuff happen.

The Agent is just a #'s and $ guy. Archie is the boss, but of course Peyton is his own man, and his final say.

"
it would be funny if he told elway the same thing elway told irsay when the colts were prepared to draft john, I'd rather play baseball than play for you. ;-0

it would be even funnier if he sat down with ireland and asked "hey jeff, is your mother a whore?" and them got up and walked out.

btw, what makes you guys think miami is so superbowl ready? only on this site is that a prevailing way of thinking. when was the last time you guys even had a winning season? and now you have a new coach coming in. dolphins aren't quite as attractive as some of you think.

There is no confirmation that Archie is in Denver do you have a link with this confirmation? I can't find it. Relax homies, he still has to visit more teams, all the sources said this morning that he was visiting multiple teams, just relax and enjoy your Friday night.

I think it's good if he's meeting us last. He'll put everything on the table and the Fins will beat the best offer ... or not.

You know as someone else said, I wouldn't mind Manning signing in Denver. I live in Colorado and can't stand all the press that over rated running back received last year. So bringing in a REAL quarterback to Denver will be funny to watch the fan bases tear its self apart over the debate if who is better.

As for Manning signing with Denver, it does make sense for him. It is an outrageously weak division and because Denver showed the willingness to change their offense for Tebow could be very attractive to Manning the field general.

If Archie is there it's a done deal.
Exactly!! I heard it on the radio here in Denver so I want to know where this started and if its true or not. I have haven't heard it again or seen it anywhere in print though.but make no mistake, if Archie is there it's over and don't forget when the Broncos wanted John Fox, they did not let him leave till the deal was done

Yep.. can't wait for 7-9 next year with Matt Flynn.. yay.. Might as well go with Moore and get the same production and not have to use up salary cap.
