I think Nasty said Booker was fine and would remain number 2, but I could be wrong. Maybe it was Ozzy...

It was me...

He must have just had a bad practice. He has looked extremely consistant in the practices I have attended. Unfortunatly, I didnt go to the one last night (I got wasted and didnt make it :chuckle: )

I don't think Jamar Martin has been mentioned at all during all of training camp.

I havent talked about him, but I have seen him and just remembered thinking DAMN that boy is huge!!! There was one play where they threw it to him in the flats. 2 DBs were running at him from the front to hit him and he just put his head down. They let him go by but he would have wrecked both of them... I dont think you guys understand what he looks like... he is a BEAST....

made a road trip down to lauderdale from west coast fl. this weekend. attended practices fri. nite sat. afternoon. now bear with me, this is the first T.C. of any kind i have ever been to. there are a ton of guys out there running around so it was hard for me to keep up with alot of whats going on. fri. nite was more fan friendly, in dolphin stadium. booker was shook up early but shook it off, and i believe it was he that made a nice toe dragging catch in the endzone along the sideline for a td. darrius thompson had a couple nice over the shoulder catchs on long balls. farmer did drop one that i saw thrown right to him, but he also suffered the only thing i saw as a tackle just two plays earlier. the ball, farmer and one of the db's all arrived out in the flat at the same time, farmer lost. getting laid out flat on his back. the defense is playing a kind of touch football, with ref's blowing plays down as they see it. there is no real tackleing so you have to consider this as you watch. offensive players are going full out while defenders it would appear have to be a little more reserved. pre season games should give us clearer look at what we are looking at. that said, kj harris had a couple nice runs. not much from boston or chambers that i saw, but this may be by design. saban may already know what he has in these two, i don't know. welker looked good, jamar martin is huge!! harris is good size. frerotte threw one ball that was a laser. i don't remember any interceptions by any qb's but i could be wrong. defensive line got good pressure on a few plays. ok...saturday was a little tougher, practice was ran on far field from stands. was real hard to see much of the action or numbers. ricky had a nice run and welker made the play of the day, laying out horizontal to make a finger tip grab from i believe berlin. crashing to the ground the crowd went wild. W.W. was very active in practice as was farmer. number 40 (program lists him as brandon haw 6-0 195 db) made some nice catches. this guy looked bigger than size in program and he was playing t.e. or h-back. on near field the new kid punter #5 was booming 50 and 55 yarders, pretty impressive. chester worked with a coach 1 on 1 for a couple minutes. seau and moore just kinda milled around. watched roth on fri nite, he wasn't doing much. corey jenkins from what i saw in both practices wasn't to involved. so like i said there is alot to keep up with, i will say welker looked good both days and i wonder if he could move up to #3. also mcmichael looked good and lee had a couple grabs on fri. hope you found my babaling a little informative

Has anyone noticed Corey Jenkins?

no, but there is a reason why he is "corey jenkins" and not zach thomas. there is a reason he isnt a premiere LB because you dont notice him...DUHHHHHH!! :)

and dude above me, appreciate the report, but huge paragraphs are NOT friendly to the eys :)

-Vernon Carey continued to play well. Whenever he's not facing JT he handles his guy easily.

-St Clair is still at RG, thought I think before camp breaks Middleton supplants him. He's huge and his presence in the middle out there is noticable.

-Derrius Thompson had a typical Derrius Thompson night. He had a couple really nice catches but then had a few really bad drops.

-Booker was awful. He dropped almost everything that went his way, save one nice diving catch that he got up from slowly. Nothing serious, don't worry.

-Feeley played well tonight IMO. He put a lot of deep balls right on the money.

-Sage was off an on. He had some good throws and then he had some bad ones.

-Ricky looked good as usual.

-Spragan had a red jersey on.

-Larry Chester looks much better than he did two weeks ago. I saw him this mourning working after practice with a group of coaches. He's very dedicated. I said to him after practice "we need you out there." He said he knows and that he's working hard. Plan on him being ready opening day. I swear he looks like he dropped 30 lbs in the last 2-3 weeks. Getting him back will be a huge boost.

-Daniels was stellar tonight. He had a real nice pass break up.

-Bua was beat on a TD.

-Manny Wright was in the backfield a few times. He continues to impress.

-One guy I like to watch is Jamar Martin. He's a big load out there.

-Practice ended with Saban coming on the microphone. He thanked all the fans and said that most importantly is he hopes we will support him and the Dolphins through thick and thin etc.

-That's all for now, if you have questions just ask.
Sounds good. Looks like Ricky hasn't missed a beat. And of course, I will ALWAYS support the Dolphins through thick and thin!:D

I live in Arizona so all i see are the games and all the great reports on this site.

But, I would like to know if wright is really doing that well.
I watched him in the Pac-10 out here and he had alot of potential.

All the reports on here for practice say he is "doing well" to "impressive."
But, Monday night he looked like a sack of bricks, that couldnt even fall towards the QB or the linemen for that matter. I hate to agree with Madden but he was pretty bad that night.

This could be bad if he looks that impresive against our o-line and terrible against other teams o-lines.

Just curious.
