Businessman and owner of the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins H. Wayne Huizenga’s Linville Ridge home was destroyed in a fire Saturday night.

According to Linville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Boyd Biggerstaff, the house was fully engaged by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

Firefighters were able to save the master bedroom, but little else, Biggerstaff said.

The Huizengas were not home at the time of the incident. They were at their other residence in Banner Elk, according to Biggerstaff.

Damn!!! That sucks! At least he has the money to pay the insurance premiums....
 
Maybe sum1 pooped in a bag then lit it on fire and put it on Waynes doorstep then rung the doorbell and Waynes butler didnt want to step on it and then it turned ugly!

i dont know why everyone is joking about this. as rich as wayne is, there are a lot of things you just can't replace no matter how much money you have. very unfortunate.
 
his family his safe so that's good, he has all the money to replace the material things.
