that makes little sense considering they could have had him for just money had they signed him in free agency...i was expecting him to be in that 3 year $21 mil range contract # but the colts kept him for less than that and in 2 years they probably can walk away from it with no cap implications if his play dictates it...

why the heck weren't we in on that considering we just traded marshall and need a #1 wr for the short term at least...wayne would have filled in nicely for this year and maybe next...instead we trade a guy and leave a hole and pursue guys who are gonna get overpaid and have #2 wr upside in laurent robinson...

makes no sense...no matter how people want to try and spin it

It makes perfect sense just signing him doesn't involve screwing ourselves
 
Why would Manning join the Dolphins? Broncos and Titans are better options.

why wouold signing wayne on a short term deal involve screwing ourselves??? i fail to see the connection there...if he was done as a player than yeah that would be true but reggie wayne is not done
 
Thank God, his neck will be broken in week one. Manning has to be an idiot to event think about stepping on the field.
 
So apparently the Dolphins went into the Manning meeting knowing Marshall was going to be traded...I'm trying to figure how they spun that to Peyton.
