A large portion of the college football world is in New York right now for the National Football Foundation's College Football Hall of Fame Induction. And now that Schiano, whom many expected to get the job, is out of the picture, sources tell CaneSport there is increased interest in the job among prospective coaches.
CaneSport has previously reported that West Virginia Coach Rich Rodriguez was interested in the job but his $2 million buyout is believed to be an obstacle.
Texas Christian Coach Gary Patterson is another coach believed to be on Miami's radar screen....
