Report: Peyton Manning cleared to resume NFL Career

You gave me back the cancer that the peyton manning cleared to play news had previously cured...

Let me fix your cancer again: http://www.coltsauthority.com/2012-archives/january/the-colts-cannot-trade-peyton-manning.html

"In order to get under the cap, the Colts would obviously have to shed salary. Now we'll turn our attention to Mock's article. Using his numbers, we see that the Colts could save $13,600,000 on the cap by cutting the following veterans after June 1st, 2012: Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, Joseph Addai, Melvin Bulitt, Adam Vinatieri, Jerry Hughes, Donald Brown, Antonio Johnson, Zac Diles, Fili Moala and Justin Snow.If we remove the $13,600,000 from our $158,400,000 cap, we find ourselves sitting at $144,800,000, almost $20 million over our hypothetical Salary Cap. And if the Colts were to pull the last rabbit out of their hat and cut Dwight Freeney and Antoine Bethea? The Colts would save an additional $17,235,000 against the 2012 cap.
At this point, the Colts would still find themselves around $3,000,000 over the cap."

They just cannot afford to keep him.

I don't believe this mean's anything, I will wait to see if the colts cut him. If they still decide to cut him this is just an insurance blanket for Peyton Manning and any team that might be interested in signed him as a free agent.

I don't care if he's cleared medically to throw a football, it doesn't mean he can take a hit.

Mortensen just said on ESPN, Dr said he could play sunday!.... take it for what its worth!

If we even get half of this, I'm really excited.

Thanks doc really needed that, luck says ge wants to start and be the main guy, will he pull an elway if they keep him? or will they cut peton?

Peyton Manning with a chip on his shoulder... This could be legendary!

It's funny. All Mike and Mike talk about is Manning going to the Jets. I wouldn't go to that train wreck of a team if I was him. I think the Philbin is the right coach along with Sherman to make it work for Manning. Of all the other teams wanting him, the Fins I think have the best coaching staff to get him to another SB.

because those "some" are just pure speculators who just throw crap at the wall.

this would be as compared to all the crap Mort has thrown against the wall over the last year or 2? IMO, Adam has a bit more integrity than Mort when verifying reports. Let's hear it from him.

I can't even imagine how much I would cry if I saw phins win superbowl, let alone make it to it lolol :)

Peyton manning will only give us 2 or 3 more years even if he can make us super bowl contenders it wont be for long we need a dynasty which starts with a young franchise quarterback
