Wow! I didn't know this fact! This is very encouraging news!

If MIA can replace some areas with FAs like a TJ Housh and/or an Albert Haynesworth....that allows us to fix OL and secondary in the first day of the draft without ignoring our needs at DL and WR, which would have been fixed via FA.

Haynesworth, Ferguson, and Soliai would be a solid NT corps.

Haynes"worth" is worth being the highest paid defensive player in the league. To me it wasn't our DEs that were the weaklink, but Ferguson.

I'm not saying that Ferguson struggled so much, but he wasn't dominant. Haynesworth is dominant. He would be our Haloti Ngata.

Ngata does wonders for the BAL DEs and OLBs. There whole "D" depends on him.

In fact, this year the whole reason that TEN was so good was because of Albert. Kerry Collins is not no great QB, it was Haynesworth and the TEN "D".

If TEN is somehow unable to come to terms with Albert. He should at least test the market to compare and see what they will offer him.

That's where Bill Parcells needs to break the bank and solidify us as a top 5 "D" next season...which we will need having "the" most difficult schedule in 2009! :hi5:

Then, you re-sign Carey, Crowder, Bell, Goodman, and Hill...and the rest you draft OG Duke Robinson at #25, FS Lou Delmas at #44, and the best available CB at pick #57 with the first 3 picks in the first day? And we are on our way!!!:hclap:

Then you trade John "Aflack" Beck to whoever for a 6th or 7th round pick...and you use the #98 pick in the 3rd round on QB/KR/PR Pat White? Boy!!!!!!!

Then you use the 4th round pick on an OT and the 5th round pick on another LB...

Wait! What about drafting a WR there? nope. you use the left over money on #1 WR TJ Houshmandzadah!!!! Holla!

Albert's gonna stay in Tennessee, and if he does leave, it's not going to be to a team that runs a 3-4

You've now just uncovered this fact? Where were you during the 1,000 other Albert Haynesworth threads when this was mentioned numerous times?

I guess I never bothered opening those threads because I just assumed that it was irrational fans doing some fantasy football stuff.

I just did not see TEN "not" franchise tagging Albert Haynesworth, so I didn't bother wasting my time, I guess...

Or maybe I just forgot maybe. But whatever it was, I ran across that today and realized what Albert stated: "I am giving them a chance to re-sign me...but I am not flattered with how slow they have taken..."

This gave me a realization that it's actually still a possiblity that Haynesworth "could" be available after all. Feel better? :d-day:

Haynesworth is almost 6'7". He is NOT a nose tackle!!! Also, he would not survive in the ungodly humidity in Miami. He'd be worn out by halftime.

he said today he was not happy at the pace that they are negotiating contracts.

So is Halot Ngata...and he is doing just fine in BAL's 3-4. Then, we would still keep both Ferguson and Soliai for different looks.

BAL doesn't soley use Ngata at the NT on every play. In fact, they move him to DE at times to confuse the offense.

We can use Haynesworth in the same way. Start him at NT, then sometimes bring either Soliai or Ferguson in at NT and move Albert over to E, like BAL does with Ngata. It does wonders for them!

This was a known fact as soon as he was voted to the pro bowl...ur a bit behind chief

IMO, NT should be Miami's first priority. Then the ILB positions then finish working on the Oline. That's how I would look at the roster. I know we still need weapons on offense. But we have so many weaknesses that we simply must fill the biggest needs first.

you DO NOT resign Crowder....he can walk and go play somewhere else...he's not a playmaking ILB...at best he's solid...we need to get ourselves a few playmaking ILB's once again, and Crowder certainly isn't one...
