Kind of sad since he is the only one with any head coaching experience this decade. One assistant hasn't been a head coach since the 80's and the other has only been an Asst. Head Coach.

I love me some Tony Sparano, I hope he gets another shot at HC some where but to be honest I don't see anyone fixing that mess in Oakland so Its probably for the best he doesn't get that job....

Tony's a nice man who means well and thanks to The Rancid Tuna managed to defy the Peter Principle paradigm... and then obviously also even with the jest. He's presently back doing exactly what he should be. Not at all impressed by McKenzie or junior, but in a "blind squirrel" sort of way, at least they realize this too. :idk:

actually not a bad idea. That way you don't have to worry about really looking at your intrim coach as a real candidate.
Its a chance for Sparano because if he performs exceptional he could work his way into a coaching position but we all know he is not that good of a coach.
I probably would have went with Al Saunders off that staff but understand that may have pissed off Sparano and he might have left their dumpster fire.
