report: woody to sign w/redskins

I hate Dan Snyder....what a prick, thinking he can buy a Super Bowl....has he not learned from 2000?
 
Well, I will believe it when it shows up in all the usual media outlets. If this is the case though, that averages to about 11 million a year with that bonus. I know it would be structured differently but I don't think Snyder could do another deal like this, especially for an interior linemen.

I'm just outside of the DC Beltway. There is a small-time station in Virginia (550) a couple hours away. Hardly the place to break the news. I just watched George Michael on NBC4 and he had nothing to say of it.

Here is what the Gibskins have done so far...

DT Cornelius Griffin (Giants)
DE Phillip Daniels (Bears)
OL Lennie Friedman (re-signed)
CB Shawn Springs(Seahawks)
QB Mark Brunell (Jaguars)
RB Clinton Portis (Broncos)

I think they are maxed out on the big name deals.
 
What happens next year? Shoot, Coles signed a 6-year/$42m deal last year, with a fat azz bonus. Thomas signed a 6-year/#30m deal with a nice bonus. Hell, even Chad Morton got a 5-year/$10-12m deal.

Snyder is a ESPN News whore.
