It is like we added 4 first fround picks this offseason. Carey who did nothing last year, a former first round pick, is added at LT. RW comes out of retirement, whether you are for it or not, and will play at a high level. Thats 2 first round picks added on the field, as opposed to last year. Next, Ronnie Brown, the number 2 overall pick, is also added and he is so versitile that he could be used at WR, FB, and of course RB. Some may say this is a reach, but, Matt Roth was projected as a first round pick. Now, I wouldnt make an issue of that if it were merely a few scouting services that made that claim, but, it was MANY that had him going in the late first round. Do not overlook that fact. Oh yeah, and wasn't S McDougle a former number 1 pick, I mention him as a great addtion, equal to his draft spot, because he seems so motivated to turn things around for himself. I wont mention Carter and Holiday because I dont see them as being equal to a first round "talent" at this stage of their careers.

So, when I see reporters make claims of the Dolphins going 5-11 I wonder what they are thinking. We just stacked up our team with some serious talent, and in the hands of top notch coaches, that equals wins. Other then the QB spot, I think we are equal to or better than most teams in other areas of the team. These doom and gloom predictions make little sense, and although anything can happen, its hard to believe we will repeat last years disaster of a season giving all the new, highly rated, talent that will be on the field for us this season.

So 2nd rounders are first rounders now?

So the guy goes out and even says it may be a reach, but Roth was projected to be a first rounder. Are you so bored that all you can do is come on here and nitpick?

Yup all powerposting football fans that post that much on other boards are. Man I work from home and I still don't have time to spend more then 3-4 posts a year on other forums. The big problem lately is moderation. They used to not let the other teams fans get out of hand but some lately are just intentionally derailing any thread they can get into by dissing it just enough.

Notice I said FOUR first round picks, so even if people choose to dismiss Matt Roth's addtion as a first round talent, which I personally DONT, I added S McDougle in there. If I had added them all up I wouldve said FIVE first round picks.

Players dropping out of a round they SHOULD go in, happens. Thurman Thomas was a great talent, for example, that didnt get drafted were he should have. Im not sure if he was a late first or early second, but, IMO, he was a top ten talent. For example, Dan Marino, R. Lewis, M. Harrison, R. Moss, C. Dillon, all were top 10 rated players (dillon was rated a first round player by many) that went later in round one or in Dillons case, round 2. That is my point.

Yeah.

But, since its been a while since he has had a very good season, one that is up to his talents, I decided not to mention him. Of course, this could be the year he shakes off the injuries and plays up to his talents. We shall see.

He is a Bills fan, what do you really expect?

Good ol Bills fans. Making the world a better place

He's just scared, as is every fan of the other teams in the AFC east. They see the bright future of the Dolphins and recognize that they will be taking a back seat (where they belong), once the flagship team of the AFC East (Dolphins) rise to prominence again.
