Reshad Jones "expected" To Play.....

Yup, we've heard that before. We also heard the Tannehill injury wasn't really that bad and that he could play in the playoffs

See. It is not up to the players it is up to the medical staff. He could of played last week but, the medical staff said not yet because there still was evidence of an injury. Once he is cleared he'll play. He has a badly sprained shoulder and a bruise on his shoulder blade. So once that diminishes and the pain is manageable, he'll be cleared. But, he is a hard hitting safety so tackling will be his issue. We want him at 150% not 75%.

Same thing with the "China Doll Parker" he has a strained Quad which takes 2-3 weeks to heal. If he is cleared by the staff he will play. But, I want him at 150% not 75%. These injuries are piling up like poop and it will send us on a downward spiral.

The other question becomes even if he does manage to plays how effective would he be? It's very likely, more probable, that he would be playing hurt.

Then again I suppose even a 50% R.Jones is better than a 100% whatever the heck we had subbing for him previously.

I feel like we are whole different team he plays. He plays like he actually wants to win

I think the injury is worse than they're letting on. They know they want to shelve him for many weeks (so he's healthy for late/post season) but instead of announcing that they're keeping it week to week so teams have to prepare for him.

Just my speculation.

In meaningless games he's there but when we need him the most he gets hurt

I can't recall him saying last wk that he will. In the contrary last wk he said he wasn't sure if he'd play

IMO he's one of our MOST important players to have on the field because he brings it physically!

But yo! We have a bunch of volleyball players and badminton mavens playin' the most physical game in team sports!

Where did you hear he had a sprained shoulder and bruise on shoulder blade?
When he was quoted in espn today he said it was kinda similar ato the 2016 injury. Which was a rotator cuff tear. That made me think he has a partial tear now and it’s only a matter of time before it gets worse. Where did you hear about the sprain and bruise?
