You posters can giggle together about how he is the most underrated player or a "ballhawk" or is Ed Reed-esque. No, he blows. He was CONSTANTLY out of position and getting burned by Brady. ON top of that his communication blew, which was evident by not getting his secondary lined up at all.

Grief, Jones was a HUGE reason why we got demolished on offense. The Welker TD was basically all on him as well on top of a billion other mistakes he made. He has 0 speed to cover it up, and it showed. Brady was destroying the middle of the field where Jones was and going deep all day.

It looked like Gibril Wilson Part 2 with a bigger hitter

Just because he made a "ton" of tackles, doesn't mean he was around the ball. It means he was getting attacked constantly along with Nolan Carroll for sucking so much.

On top of that, he cant Disguise COVERAGES for **** because of his slow terrible feet
 
Yes, I'm mad. No one has any idea about football if they think Jones is good or even decent. He's one of the reasons we lost today, actually one of the biggest reasons. You can keep bandwagoning safeties though Phinatic
 
he had 12 tackles,

got pump faked by brady on the 99 yarder (everyone does at some point), which SAPP blew .

It was our CB's getting S****** on, real easy to blame the rookie for this defensive atrocity.

No one in the league can cover any receiver in the league for a full 8- 10 seconds.


he didn't have a great game but relax,
 
I thought he made some bad plays- namely biting on a playaction bad and costing us a deep ball, but he made some pass defenses too though.
 
i actually thought he played pretty decent... i was screaming more at yermiah bell ..... anyway our defense just was set up with failure they had no support at all behind them when the wr caught the ball it was a huge play.
 
Simple solution: Trade Chad Henne for Eric Berry.
 
Stop looking at tackles. It doesnt tell any of the story, especially if your FS is getting all the tackles.
 
I thought he was bad too. Coverage adjustments a we'll known Clemons strength were a disaster. I expect Clemons to be back next week.
 
he was terrible in every phase of the game. truly pitiful - not that any of the DB's played even remotely well. whoever can still say he's a 'free safety' can go ahead and kill themselves. he was more lost than than the backfield he was supposed to be getting lined up. fugging abysmal.
 
Chris Clemons is a lot faster than Jones and wish he was in tonight.

Reshad Jones looked absolutely horrible all night long being 2, 3 and 4 steps late everywhere. And that's not including all the times he lined up in the wrong places and looked totally lost out there and out of position

Terrible communication. Sean Smith was making half the calls with Bell because Jones has no idea what he's doing. Yet when hes single high, he doesn't notice Carroll is getting picked on constantly and decides not to shade his side.
