Chris Clemons, along with every other member of our secondary, was a HUGE reason why we weren't winning games last year. If any of the guys in our secondary had half the ball skills of pretty much any other secondary in the NFL, we would have won 10 games last year, weak offense and all.

Reshad Jones, Carroll, whatever. They both suck. Reshad Jones is a huge liability though Constantly being caught out of position and hanging our corners out to dry. I Don't know why Nolan Carroll is still on the team, but Jones certainly wasn't helping today. He was responsible for teh 46 yard Slater reception last week and he was a big reason why Johnson scored that TD. granted, Carroll never should've been on him, but still. The sooner we get Clemons back the better off we'll be in the secondary.

Why would Clemons make a diffrence, even with Clemons is "position" our pass d would still suck.
Johnson knew as soon as Carroll was on him he was gonna score, that's how bad Carroll is.
Our pass Defense was ranked 8th in the NFL last year with Clemons back there. He makes sure everyone is in position.

I'm a Clemons fanboy, I semi know him, but don't ct like he is some all world FS who did so great last season. He was barely average.

We beat Cincy and we beat Oakland. So great calls on those.
The last Pats game? When Clemons pulled his hamstring and had to get taken out? The one when we were down by 21 in the 2nd quarter?
Thats all you have? the last game of the season when we gave up before it started?

Considering most of these dropped turnovers came in the waning minutes of games or deep in the opponents territory, those were a pretty big deal.
But continue to blame our first two losses on Jones, it doesn't really matter anyway. Even if he gets replaced, we're gonna have a mediocre defense that didn't do as well as people think last year, coupled with an offense that can't score points even when it gets in position over and over.

He's a far cry better than Jones. Clemons is very average. In fact, we need an upgrade at FS, that much is obvious. But Reshad Jones constantly bites on play fakes and play like a SS which spells disaster at the FS position.
It infuriates me that Carroll is still on this team. He never even should've been matched up with Johnson... But the bottom line is he was expecting help from Reshad Jones. He didn't get it and it made him look clueless. Which he is, but that's beyond the point. Had Jones been where he was supposed to be, that Andre TD doesn't happen.
