Reshad Jones Ranked 4th Best Safety per PFF

Credit for these stats comes from reddit and twitter (https://twitter.com/jords_mac/status/533333116254171136). Reshad has been exceptional since he came back. Disrupting QBs, stuffing the run, and defending anyone coming his way. PFF stats don't show the whole picture, but I think everyone would appreciate this. Reshad is ranked 4th with a +11.1 over the last 4 games.

He's having a hell of a year so far. One of the most important parts of this defense. He's doing a lot of little things that don't show up on a stat sheet. I like the combination of him and Delmas. Both are high-energy guys that fly around.
 
Jones has been fantastic in his return. He's certainly playing up to his billing. Looking forward to Finnigan getting healthy and teaming back up with one of the better secondaries in the NFL.
 
Yes, he's flying all over the place, bringing attitude that's infectious. Between him, Jamar Taylor, and J Landry we are suddenly getting some swag. If the O can do what Wallace says they need to do we would be able to make a nice run.
 
He's been better than ever! Great player that really brings some toughness and intensity to the secondary. If only he could've gotten a hand on that pass in detroit! Oh well.
 
I remember the preseason game after his suspension was announced he was a 2nd half starter because Wilson got the 1st team reps and he looked like an NFL safety playing against high school kids. He was twice as fast as everyone. He is our defensive leader. Ive said int he past our teams problem is we dont have the big mouth, get everyone fired up, kind of guys that we need. Jones brings the energy on defense just like Landry does on offense.
 
Eric Weddle is the best safety in the league and we made that defense look like a bunch of chums. Think Weddle may have even gotten burned a few times
 
Had he gotten that INT that was unfortunately tipped at the LOS maybe he'd be 3rd

They do play really well together...much better combo than last year.
 
Rashad Jones is a very physical defensive back. He has an excellent presence in the field and probably our most improved player in the team.
 
Coyle's playing Jones in the box much more than last season. I think it's the biggest reason for his improvement - though I wouldn't discount the impact of Delma's energy.
