Reshad Jones suspended 4 games.

Weak. Just a ridiculous comparison. Pete Carroll and Joe Philbin have equivalent achievements? Hell, at least when Carroll and BB overlook(encourage) cheating they manage to win with it. I'm happy to criticize Carroll and BB for questionable ethics, but being successful tips the scales against all kinds of negative aspects. Philbin has nothing positive to counter the lack of discipline
Agreed.. Everyone does it however they can overcome it... We, however cannot, so should not be gambling.. Epitome of Miami Lolphins

wtf is wrong with these athletes on this team
We don't call those who juice up athletes

frankly the whole league juices. they just don't test positive cuz they know when tests are.
True and just goes to show you just how ****ing dumb our players are

Wait...you guys think allowing players to take peds or not is an actual coaching decision?

Joe Philbin...what a joke.

Unreal, the amount of **** that goes on under his control.

What exactly does he do?
He combs the field for litter Space balls style.. "we ain't seen ****"

Kindly explain

In all likelihood he knew exactly what he was taking and knew it was banned.
I'd say 100 percent.. He's taking everyone due assholes with his little bitch excuse.

I miss Kevin O'Neil.

With Kevin O'Neil this team had no PED issues and was remarkable in its health. Call the curse of firing O'Neil or just not sufficiently hiring a quality replacement.

This is ridiculous to blame trainers/coaches for one player who had a disappointing rookie season and another who played poorly after a big payday.

When it becomes a pattern it is absolutely a result of the culture established by the coach. The culture Carroll and BB have established is an ethically questionable yet successful one. Philbin's so far has been ethically questionable and unsuccessful.

Why don't we do our own drug testing? Monitor the players by testing them regularly. With so many players, we could either outsource the lab testing or build our own lab, as part of our sports science analytics department.

Pete Carroll should have been fired in 2012 in your estimation? His coaching record with Seahawks at that point was even worse than Philbins is now. I know plenty of Seahawk fans wanted him fired, were they right at the time or just regular fruitloop dinguses that had no idea what they were talking about?

Its not really in the teams interest (if it would even be allowed legally). Jordan was not working out so what difference does it make to the team if:
a) we suspend him ourselves for taking peds
b) he sucks as a player without the peds and we can't use him
c) the league suspends him for taking peds

Its like I said earlier, Jones may very well have been taking peds the whole time he's been a pro so at least we got two decent years out of him. If he couldn't do anything without the peds then what did we have to lose? What did he have to lose? There is a major flaw in the system and its sad that people are trying to scapegoat the coach for this. I made a tongue in cheek comment earlier that these guys are going above and beyond in trying to help the team win, so the coach could get credit. If you want to try to blame the coach I can just as easily turn it around and show he deserves props. But in reality both sides are silly because these are grown ass men that shouldn't need to be monitored constantly or told more than once not to cheat.

There are so many banned substances it hard to judge without knowing what the player actually took and why. I remember when female athletes were getting banned for taking birth control pills. Is there a team that hasn't had ped violation in the past five years?

At first I was annoyed at this, but then I remembered he disappeared last year. So let the young guys step up and maybe de-throne him.

Bad news is Jone was the senior DB in the back field, good news is that his play was lacking last year so hopefully his presence can replaced more easily. With Clemons gone we lack depth and real knowledge outside of Wilson, leaves us Akins and Jones in case of injury which both are way too raw,
