No, I am not so delusional that I think if we get AJ back we will have a perennial Pro bowler in the front seven, but he is definitely better than Ohio products Spitler and Trusnik. In my opinion(which I know would not buy a bowl of soup if I was hungry), Edds intelligence and football acumen far exceeds what anyone of the aforementioned players bring to the team. But alas, this regime is too pig headed to admit that they made a mistake. Just another in a long line of blunders that is the norm for Ross and his minions. :err:

Hope we sign him. Awhy did we let him go in the first place?

When you can't beat out Spitler or Mitchell it's time to start thinking about a new career and the Patriots move pretty much confirms this. I don't know whether the injury has finished him or whether he never really had it at this level but it seemed like he was only ever going to be a 3rd down player at best in a 3-4 D from the day we drafted him

He practice squad eligible. Put him on the practice squad and let him get healthy for next year.

Who is going to hold people if we cut Trusnik. Sorry he needs to stay.

Hope we resign him. Why did we let him go in the first place?

Isn't it interesting how Belichick uses the cut players to pump their knowledge of the playbook and then spit them out a few weeks later.

Like I said, we keep Trusnik who makes special teams mistakes all the time and Sparano excuses it because he is being "aggressive". But then Erik Walden made 1 special teams mistake and he was sent packing. Now he excels in Green Bay and the Dolphins look like idiots.

He looked good in pre season to me...was making tackles and looked pretty good covering recievers too.....I hope we'll bring him back but that'd make too much sense for our FO so they probably wont bring him back.

Ozzy rules!!

I definitely wouldnt say you are delusional and I certainly wouldnt put it past these dumb***es to resign Edds and prove even more they have no idea what they are doing.
