If it were due this monday, i think we'd see extensions for crowder and y bell..

yeremiah is a top SS in the league, and if he stays healthy he'll be very well known through out the league...

crowder is becomming a very good pursuer against the run, it's very nice having him as one of the 2 MLBS, he's not the best in passing coverage, but i like his tackels for loss and the gaps he chooses...

i bet we sign these guys to long term deals and let carey go...
i wouldnt mind drafting a boss at RT in the 2nd or 3rd round and letting careys expensive butt to walk...

however the poor RG play might decrease his value in the free agent market, so if we can sign him for average money... then we should keep him... but he's not good against blitzes

I still haven't seen Crowder doing what he needs to do to stuff the running game. He makes a few good plays a game, but he is making a lot of bad ones as well. He seems to get caught over-pursuing way too much, and then on other plays he is taken out way too easy by blockers.

he is very bad at shedding blocks.

Donald Thomas will be back next year . . . experts say he will be a future ALL Pro at RG.

I like Vernon, but I doubt we over spend on him . . . guess we will see tho.

I don't think Bell is a top SS in the league, he is solid tho . . . but like CK pointed out, he doesn't make that big INT u expect to see from your safety position. And he is over 30 I believe. We are weak at safety tho, especially SS.

Crowder, I like Crowder . . I think he has Miami Dolphins written all over him, I think we could find a replacement, but sometimes u just gotta keep these guys who show so much intensity on the field, and Channing is still very young, he is getting better.

I don't think any of the guys, Carey, Bell or Crowder are mainstays, we probably will see them back, but for me it shouldn't be for long term deals. Neither one of them are overly impressive and if we can't get better at those individual positions I think this team is at best a playoff contender nothing more. Too many times in the past this team has settle for that, I hope this regime is different.

Bell is at most, a impact in the box, but a major liability in the pass.

Carey is a adequate RT, don't get me wrong, he just does not distinguish himself and its been something like five or six seasons for him, he is what he is, and the Dolphins just need more.

Crowder is a bad fit for the 3-4. Body-wise he is very slim and doesn't take on OL well. Skill-wise he brings little outside of the basic functions of a LB, which is tackiling. No doubt he makes tackles. But ask yourself do you remember any of them? He simply doesn't effect the game, or makes game changing plays.

I'd like to see us keep all 3 players but i am not sure how realistic it is.
IMO:
Crowder is a very active player does he make good and bad plays? of course he does but he is still young. i think we resign him.
Carey is a solid oline man but i think we need to re-sign him. With the right coaching and being a systems for a year or two will help him tremendously.
Bell is much like crowder they are both very active but he doesnt have the best coverage skills. I may wrong but i beleive that roy williams (S) may not be a cowboy next year...could he be a fin?
