Excuse me for basking in the beauty of something I've waited my whole life for, but this thread is for all of those who have discredited the UT football organization this season. I've dealt with it all year 'Texas are overrated', 'Vince Young is the worst player in college football history', 'Texas won't beat USC', whatever.

I know we have many perennial 'disagree with any damn thing said' posters, who shall remain nameless, but it's time for the haters to eat their damn crow.

Fact of the matter is..

As a College QB, I gotta give hims props for tonight's performance. However, I still don't think his game translates to the NFL and I still don't have an ounce of respect for him after how he acted at the Heisman ceremony.
 
Good game to Texas. They(Young) played better than I believed they could. Congrats.
 
Congrats,,,,,even though the Texas Tech Raiders are the better football school in Texas. :lol:
 
He still has a lot to prove on the NFL level but he has proven he can dominate the College level and lead a team to greatness. I hope he declares so we recieve a better chance at Cutler!

You sure are worked up tonight... you're not a USC fan are you?

Surely you're not... being from Florida and all. You seem to keep forgetting your little rule about only following the local team... and the whole not a true fan thing. It really is odd for a (UM, UF, etc...) fan to get worked up over a USC loss.
 
smithers is just lathered because his burns isn't on center stage any longer...

actually i hate USC. i hate texas, too, so meh....i don't really care who wins. i'm not worked up over the loss, young would be getting tons of hype regardless. it's the youngsucking i don't like
