Restructure??

when was the last time a Dolphins player did a restructure with the team in order to stay with us?
why havent we explored this option recently?

The Dolphins moved on from Dansby because he wouldn't agree to restructure his contract.

i remember will allen agreed to a restructured contract to stay with the team in 2011. that was the first one that came to mind.

With better cap management we don't get into these restructure situations. Credit goes to Dawn and Ireland for avoiding cap hell and being forced to restructure.
I would imagine that New Orleans and Dallas players just love getting the message that $X is being taken out but don't worry you'll be right in the long term.
