I just hope Newsome doesn't end up like good ol' Larry Shannon(JJ passed on Randy Moss to take Shannon and publicy said Shannon would wind up being better in the long run than Moss..haha..).I hope Calico-Newsome is nothing like Moss-Shannon.

No he didn't. JJ traded the pick before the draft even started so he couldn't have passed on him. had he stood pat with the pick, we would've had to opportunity to pick him but probably wouldn't anyway. There were 20 other teams that passed on Moss before Minn took him at [I believe] 21.

Randy Moss might be the most talented WR ever but he is headache so I'm glad Jimmy traded the pick.
