Why dont they run the reverse to Welker ever? They always give it to Chambers who may make some spectaculaur catches for us, but he is no speedster. We see how fast Welker is, now lets give him the Reverse...ya?

I have been tellin my buddy that .. The slot receiver is closer to the QB, so that means he can get the handoff much quicker and it won't be as quick for defenses to read ..

The playcalling has been atrocious at best.

im sorry but chambers is a speedster ...he is an athlete he ran a 4.4 40 and had like a 44in vertical coming out of college that is awsome.

I'd be happy not to see that play for 6 or 7 games...it is LAME because we cannot stop penetration.

Chambers, at least last year was the fastest guy on the team, clocking a 4.3. We all love Welker but he is not even close to Chambers in the speed department.

chambers does awesome on the reverse and has for yrs. even the last reverse he ran got blown up but he still made a positive gain. kinda curious to see what welker could do tho.

Welker is very nimble and has great moves, Chambers is just scary fast. I think either would be a good option for a reverse

uh Chambers runs around a 4.4 and Welker closer to a 4.6. What makes Welker so dangerous is his quickness and shake-and-bake ability.

Two things:
1) When the QB hands it off directly to the WR, it's not a reverse. It's usually an end-around. In order for the play to be a reverse, the player receiving the handoff from the QB hands the ball off to another player running in the opposite direction.
2) With the way we've been allowing defenders in the backfield, any running play that takes several seconds to develop probably shouldn't be in the plan.

On a reverse it isnt about being quick...Its all about timeing and making the defenders commit to the run than hand it off to chambers around the outside...And on this issue Chambers is twice as fast as Welker and deserves to get the reverse call...

Neither can jenna jamison, but she still does what she does pretty much every game

The reverse is also a big risk. In the case it does not work, you lose major yardage and could force yourself into a passing situation.
