I really thought it was short... I mean they would of probably gone for it on Inches but maybe go for the FG. I was positive his Elbow touched inches short.

On a side note, do you guys think if Wallace dived for that overthrown pass he could of caught it? I saw the pass was off by a few yards, 3-4 ?

I don't think it was short and I don't think Wallace would have gotten near the pass, but that's just me.

WAllace couldn't have gotten to that ball. And I thought he was short but too close to over turn. If we lucked out there Detroit has to kick the FG.

Or Clay could have caught that TD pass. Or we could not have settled for field goals when we got in the red zone.

I didn't think he was short and I definitely didn't think Wallace could have caught that ball.

They don't turn those over unless its crystal clear, even if it would have been a foot shorter I doubt they change it. I didn't even think it was a bad spot. It can be a game of inches, that play, the long TD pass, the pass Finnegan almost broke up but Megatron pulled in, the last TD pass where he side armed it, all were just a few inches from being the difference. And on the other side Clay was just a few inches from bringing in that TD pass.

The camera angle that they were showing was slanted which lead to the difference being distorted.
That said it appears that he was slightly short.

Wallace couldn't of dived for the ball and never would of bothered trying...Landry would of tried, wouldn't of got slowed by contact at the line...maybe caught it.

By the end of the season Landry will be our clear #1 and Wallace will be a useful piece in the offense.

Yes that play Was short ,not sure if they would have went for it or not , but wasnt challenged ,and NO it was to far for Wallace to even dive for ,but it didnt look like wallace was at top speed either .

FWIW the play was officially reviewed so a challenge was not needed.
The referee did not believe there was enough to overturn

I also think he was short but it was close and not obviously wrong with the angles. I could see the referee being reluctant to overturn the decision.

20 years ago they managed to create a system to track an ice puck. Anyone care to explain to me why the **** can't the NFL, a billion dollar company, figure out a way to track the football on the field besides using senior citizens and chain linked poles. I wouldn't go as far as calling games rigged, but that **** right there is a scam.

Think he made the first down, at least close enough to not overturn. As far as the Wallace bomb, Wallace is terrible at tracking the football. Look at where his head is the entire time the ball is in the air. It's no wonder he couldn't catch up to it

It definitely was short. They kept showing Tate bounce to the marker however that was incorrect. As soon as his elbow hit the ground he was down and the ball was short of the marker. I wasn't upset however as Dolphins gonna Dolphin and I already knew when Detroit started their drive that they would score and we would lose
